We look over the paint with you and point out swirls, scratches or spots worth knowing about.
Wheels first.
Wheels and tires are cleaned first so brake dust never touches clean paint.
Foam and hand wash.
Snow foam softens dirt, then a two-bucket hand wash removes it safely.
Decontaminate.
Iron remover and clay bar pull out what washing can't.
Protect.
Wax or sealant is applied by hand and buffed to a deep gloss.
Finish and walkthrough.
Glass, tires and trim are finished, and we walk the car with you.

What's the difference between a car wash and an exterior detail?
A wash removes surface dirt. An exterior detail also decontaminates the paint, cleans wheels and trim properly, and adds a layer of protection.
Wax or sealant: which do you use?
Wax gives a warm glow and lasts about 1 to 2 months. Sealant lasts about 4 to 6 months. We'll recommend one based on how you use the car. For years of protection, see Ceramic Coating.
Will an exterior detail remove scratches and swirl marks?
It makes the paint cleaner and glossier, but defects in the clear coat need Paint Correction.
Can you detail my car if it's sunny or raining?
We avoid washing in direct, hot sun and heavy rain. If the weather turns, we'll reschedule at no charge.
How often should I get an exterior detail?
Every 2 to 3 months keeps protection topped up and paint in great shape.
